1. About Inner Mind Centre
Inner Mind Centre is operated by Victoria E Armstrong, a self employed sole trader registered in Spain.
Our business address is Plaza el Molar 3, La Marina, Alicante, 03194, Spain.
These Terms of Use explain the conditions for using innermindcentre.com, our practitioner directory and related platform features. They also describe the distinction between services provided by Inner Mind Centre and services provided independently by practitioners.
For enquiries, complaints or support, please use our contact page.
Specific membership, project, event or service terms will be provided before you purchase the relevant service. They supplement these Terms of Use and cannot override mandatory legal rights.
2. Who may use the platform
Practitioner accounts, enquiries about sessions and bookings through platform features are intended for adults aged 18 or over.
You must provide accurate information, use the website lawfully and keep any account login details secure. You must not impersonate another person, misrepresent qualifications, upload unlawful content, send unsolicited marketing or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
Please report suspected misuse through our contact page.
3. Our role and independent practitioners
Inner Mind Centre provides a platform where independent practitioners can present their services and receive enquiries. We may also provide paid membership, promotional support, podcast opportunities, technical assistance, website support, calendars, chatbots, webinars and events.
Practitioners operate their own businesses. A listing or paid membership does not make a practitioner an employee, agent or partner of Inner Mind Centre.
When you purchase a practitioner’s session or treatment, your service agreement is with that practitioner. The practitioner is responsible for their service, its suitability, delivery, fees, professional conduct and any required permissions or insurance.
Inner Mind Centre does not collect or hold payment for individual practitioner sessions or treatments. Clients pay the practitioner directly using the arrangements agreed with them.
Fees paid to Inner Mind Centre relate to our own platform or other services. Any separately agreed promotional or referral commission does not change the direct payment arrangement for individual sessions.
4. Practitioner profiles and professional standards
Practitioners must keep their profiles, prices, availability and service descriptions accurate and current.
They must hold appropriate insurance for their activities and provide evidence of relevant training or certification. Where an activity is regulated, practitioners must hold the legally required qualifications, registration, licences and authorisations.
A training certificate for a complementary or spiritual practice does not, by itself, establish that the holder is a licensed healthcare professional.
Practitioners must not make misleading claims, promise guaranteed outcomes or advertise services beyond their competence or legal authority. They are responsible for permissions to publish photographs, testimonials, qualifications and other profile material.
We may request supporting documents, ask for corrections or suspend a profile while concerns are investigated. A listing does not constitute a clinical recommendation or a guarantee of competence or results. Any verification statement on a profile will describe the specific check performed.
5. Choosing and booking a practitioner
Before booking, you should confirm the practitioner’s identity, relevant qualifications, insurance, service format, total price, cancellation terms and contact arrangements.
Directory labels, search results and any “Available Now” status are based on information supplied by practitioners. Availability can change and does not guarantee an immediate response or confirmed appointment.
A booking is confirmed only through the practitioner’s confirmation process. The practitioner must identify themselves as the service provider and disclose the applicable terms before taking payment.
6. Session cancellations, missed appointments and refunds
Each practitioner must communicate clear, lawful cancellation, rescheduling and refund terms before accepting a booking or payment.
If a practitioner cancels a prepaid session, they must offer a suitable alternative appointment. If the client does not agree to reschedule, the practitioner must refund the payment for the cancelled session without undue delay.
A client is not required to accept rescheduling instead of a refund for a session cancelled by the practitioner.
Client cancellations and missed appointments are handled directly by the practitioner under the terms disclosed at booking and applicable law.
Inner Mind Centre does not issue refunds for session payments made directly to practitioners. Complaints about sessions should first be directed to the practitioner. You may also report concerns to us for a review of their platform membership.
Reporting a concern to us does not restrict your statutory rights, your right to complain to an appropriate authority or your available payment dispute procedures.
7. Account suspension and practitioner cancellations
If a practitioner has three cancellations without good reason, we may temporarily deactivate their account while we establish what has happened.
Where a practitioner has cancelled three times, a client who has paid in advance for a session that has not taken place is entitled to a refund of that payment from the practitioner.
We will consider the circumstances, any supporting explanation, communication with affected clients and whether required refunds or rescheduling have been addressed.
We may restore the account, impose reasonable conditions or end membership where justified. Serious misconduct, misleading credentials, unlawful activity or a credible safety concern may justify immediate temporary suspension.
We will explain the reason for action as far as lawful and appropriate and provide a way to request a review through our contact page.
Any effect on subscription charges or unused services will be addressed under the applicable membership agreement and law. Suspension does not automatically remove a right to a refund.
8. Inner Mind Centre memberships and paid services
Practitioners may purchase subscriptions, profile enhancements, technical assistance, promotional services or other agreed services from Inner Mind Centre.
Before purchase, the relevant offer or service agreement will explain the scope, price, applicable taxes, billing frequency, renewal arrangements, any commission, delivery terms and cancellation or refund conditions.
We will not charge an undisclosed commission or additional service fee. Payments for our own services may be processed through Stripe, PayPal or another payment provider identified before payment.
Practitioner memberships purchased for business purposes are subject to the applicable business agreement. Where a purchaser is legally a consumer, mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.
For eligible consumer service contracts concluded online, a statutory withdrawal period normally applies. Where it applies, you may withdraw within 14 calendar days of concluding the contract by sending a clear statement through our contact page. Any lawful exception or request for an early start will be explained before purchase. Starting work does not, by itself, remove the right to withdraw.
Where you expressly request a service to start during that period, any amount payable for work supplied before withdrawal will be calculated under applicable law. Loss of a withdrawal right on full completion or delivery of digital content requires the relevant legal conditions to be met.
Events and webinars will have specific terms identifying the organiser, what is included, cancellation arrangements and any applicable withdrawal exception. We do not assume that every dated event is exempt.
9. Wellbeing information and limitations
Inner Mind Centre’s directory, podcast, educational content and service navigation provide general information. They do not provide a diagnosis, medical prescription, psychotherapy or emergency assistance.
Complementary practices and spiritual services, including Reiki, sound practices and tarot, must not be presented as substitutes for appropriate medical or mental health care.
Do not stop treatment, change medication or delay professional advice because of website content, a practitioner listing or an automated response.
Any recommendation to explore a service is an invitation to obtain further information, not a determination that the service is clinically suitable or effective for you.
For an immediate emergency in Spain or elsewhere in the EU, call 112.
10. Chatbots and automated assistance
Where an AI chatbot is offered, it will be identified as automated assistance. Its role is to help visitors navigate the website and understand general service information.
Responses may be incomplete or inaccurate and should be confirmed with the relevant practitioner or our team. The chatbot must not be used for diagnosis, treatment decisions or emergencies.
Please do not enter medical histories, symptoms, diagnoses, payment credentials or other sensitive information into general enquiry forms or the chatbot.
11. Communities, events and recordings
Participation in an optional practitioner WhatsApp group or other community is voluntary. Members must respect others, keep shared information confidential and avoid harassment or unsolicited promotion.
Before joining a group, consider the information that other members can see, including your telephone number in an ordinary WhatsApp group.
Participation in a membership or event does not automatically authorise us to publish your image, voice or personal story. Recording and publicity arrangements will be explained separately, with the appropriate permissions obtained.
12. Intellectual property
Our branding, original text, designs and other original website material are protected by applicable intellectual property law.
You may browse the website and retain information for your own lawful use. You must not republish or commercially exploit our original material without permission or another lawful basis.
Practitioners retain ownership of content they supply. By submitting material for a profile, they authorise us to display and format it for the agreed listing. Wider promotional use, including podcast extracts or advertisements, requires the permissions agreed for that activity.
13. Links, reliability and liability
External websites, practitioner channels and payment pages have their own terms and privacy arrangements.
We take reasonable care in operating the platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access, immediate practitioner responses or particular commercial or wellbeing results.
Responsibility for a practitioner’s independent service rests with that practitioner. Responsibility for Inner Mind Centre’s own actions, services and legal duties remains with us.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer rights.
14. Updates and governing law
We may update these terms to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. The current version will show its update date.
Material changes affecting existing paid services will be communicated as required and will not retrospectively remove accrued rights.
These terms are governed by Spanish law, subject to any mandatory protections applicable to you. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. Consumers retain any mandatory rights to bring proceedings in their place of residence.
